I think that the recent lunar eclipse brought out the ...illogic in people. This week I had an unusual amount of oddities, both in scale and quantity. The winner, though, is so clear that he put the others to shame.

A man called in because he had filed his taxes and requested direct deposit on his refund. It turned out that the account number he had given the IRS was wrong, and he wanted to know if he could change his account number to the one he had given them.

Then, after learning that this was not possible, asked angrily,

"So you mean I can't just pick whatever number I want for an account number?"
