Though I live in an apartment and we are not really allowed to have gardens, I cannot get by without some kind of attempt at keeping a rose garden going. Three of the plants (miniature roses) are in bloom, but because of my lack of patience I could not get the shots I really wanted of all of the them. I will make further attempts when there is more light (and patience!) In addition I figured I would include two of my orchids, which were easier to shoot.
Thinking about orchids and roses, I realized that orchids seem like cats- they like to be left alone, and roses are like dogs- they like and need the attention.
